FAQs

Energy Healing:

Q: How many sessions of energetic healing are required?
A: One or two treatments may be enough; however, we suggest 3-5 as a guide so that you can monitor changes over time.

Q: Are there any after effects to treatments?
A: People usually feel better, clearer, positive, more relaxed and cheerful after a healing session. They may feel relief after having resolved a long held problem or issue. Responses are varied.

Q: Will it interfere with my spiritual or religious beliefs?
A: No, we respect your beliefs and don’t change anything without your permission.

Q: Is this better than medical treatment?
A: It is different and is an addition to what you may be doing medically. We specifically ask you NOT to make any changes to your medical treatments or medications - it is not our role to do anything on that level. You are welcome to inform your health care providers that you are having energy healing so that they may monitor any changes which occur.  

Q: Will I be told what’s happening in the session?
A: Yes, we make a special effort to advise you what format the session will take and guide you through the process. We take patient care very seriously. There will be time to discuss what happened, if necessary, at the end of the session if not during the healing. Sometimes it is better to enjoy a healing without trying to work out what happened and how!

Nutrition, Naturopathy and Iridology:

Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: It depends on your health, illness(es), diet and lifestyle, budget, goals, etc. We suggest 4-5 sessions as it takes time to make changes and see results.

Q: What time-frame are we looking at?
A: For a 4-5 session treatment program we suggest 3-6 months.

Q: What type of things will I have to sacrifice in order to follow your suggestions?
A: Again it depends on the points mentioned above and your desire to make changes, likes, dislikes, etc. It’s a very individual thing.

Q: Do you work with the patient’s doctor(s)?
A: Yes, we are happy to if the patient and doctor would like that. Letting your other health care providers know what you are taking and how you are modifying your health and lifestyle is very important.

Q: Do you work / consult with other natural health practitioners?
A: Yes, we consult and work with other highly skilled people: a medical herbalist, a naturopath, a specialist in bio-energetic medicine, kinesiologist, a Bowen/Emmett Technique practitioner, art therapist, counsellors with various skills including learning difficulties in children, and intuitive healers. We may refer patients to them if necessary or we may work in collaboration with them towards the best result for the patient.

Q: Why should I buy ‘practitioner only’ brands?
A: We use ‘practitioner only’ brands manufactured by companies who take pride in their products. These companies are meticulous in their manufacturing processes and are selective with their raw materials that are thoroughly tested to ensure optimal quality. Many of these formulations have been put together as a result of much research to ensure the efficacy of the products.

Q: Can I claim my treatment consultations from my health fund?
A: Possibly, depending on your cover. Please see our Health Funds section for further information.

General:

Q: How much notice of changes to appointments is required?
A: At least 24 hours, more if possible.  It is really important to advise us of changes if you can’t attend - with enough notice, it allows the appointment to be allocated to another client.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Crows Nest and Alexandria. Please see our Contact page for appointment times and other details.

Q: Do you offer discounts for multiple sessions?
A: Yes, at certain times, if paid in advance. Please check with the practitioner when booking your appointment.

Q: Are pensioners/students entitled to a discount?
A: Yes, 10% on presentation of a Senior’s Card or entitlement documentation.

Q: Do you accept credit card payments?
A:Credit card payments are accepted by Rosalie Savage and Julia Adams. Allen Stewart and Elizabeth Naera do not accept credit cards at this time. Note: Generally, cash is the preferred method of payment for our practitioners.
