How nutrition can improve your health
Nutrition is the science of using food, natural health principles and nutritional supplements for human consumption and benefit.
Benefits
- Improved health, well-being and vitality

health-related issues

- Improved nutrient status
- Support to make changes
- Realisation of health goals
The role of a nutritionist is to give advice and information on nutrition, provide diet plans, advice on nutritional supplements and support (not treat) people with various diseases. Most of us at some time or another suffer from the following:
- Stress
- Tiredness & lethargy
- Headaches
- Poor digestion
- Depression
- Aches & pains
- Inadequate or poor sleep
In Australia we are presently in a time of great confusion about what to eat, when to eat it, why certain foods are beneficial and some are not. We face an obesity epidemic and a dramatic increase in cancer, Diabetes and cardio-vascular disease.
What better way to clear confusion and invest in your health by having a series of consultations to establish an individualised plan and treatment program just for you!

Iridology
Iridology has been described as both and art and a science. It has been used for hundreds of years in different forms and has evolved into a tool which guides the practitioner by examination of the irides.
It is used as a tool to assist with evaluating the patient’s health status, by examining the iris with a special magnifying device which is used to look for “indicators”, (various signs, markings and colours in the irides) which give information.
A session includes the taking of a case history, assessment by iridology, questions to the client relating to signs seen in the eyes and a suggested treatment plan for you if it is appropriate. This normally takes approximately 1 hour.
It is used in conjunction with other clinical evaluation to confirm findings gathered from, for example, a case history which includes patient symptoms.
More recent research is being conducted into Iridology’s efficacy which seems to be supporting many of the views of practicing Iridologists. See article - Is Iridology Nonsense?

Supplements
Supplements are the vitamins, minerals, super-foods, protein powders, digestive enzymes, etc., which may be prescribed at the time of your visit.
We recommend only high-quality supplements – most of which are “Practitioner-only” and cannot be bought by the Public except through a registered practitioner.
Other good quality products which are available in your health food store may be recommended.
Your budget considerations are taken into account when prescribing.
